Google CEO resigns from Apple’s Board

CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt resigned from Apple’s board of directors citing mutlitple conflicts of interest.  Eric Schmidt resigned because Apple and Google were moving more and more into each others sectors.  Google’s introduction of Chrome and Android to compete with OSX and iPhone it was becoming clear the conflict of interests that was developing.  The resgining comes amid an FCC investigation into Apple, Google and AT&T regarding the rejection of Google Voice.   Eric Schmidt had been a board member since 2006.
