Ad Revenue Declining

U.S. online ad revenue dropped a whopping 7% in the second quarter of this year.  The worsening economy was being blamed for the drop in ad revenue.  Experts believe that the worst may not be over.  They expect revenues to be down again in the third quarter.  Worldwide ad sales dropped 5% to $13.9 billion compared to $14.7 billion a year earlier.  Every player in the online ad revenue industry saw losses expect for ad giant Google.

The partnership with Yahoo and Microsoft hopes to improve its ad revenue at the hands of Google who control over 60% of the ad marketshare.  The partnership begins sometime in 2010.
