Microsoft and Nokia Alliance

Microsoft and Nokia entered into an alliance to challenge the dominance of Research In Motions Blackberry.  Currently, many companies use Blackberry for their superior handling of email.  Now the alliance between Microsoft and Nokia will challenge the dominance of Blackberry by allow Nokia to use Office software on their phones.  Using Office on a cell phone may make Nokia phones very attractive to business.  Nokia will use Office in conjunction with its Mobile Communicator on the E series of phones.

Blackberry is the current leader in the cell phone market, but their lead has been lowered as a result of the iPhone.
